In observance of Black History Month, Jr. High Students researched the life of an African American that has made a contribution to American society and life.
MCJS 2010-2011 SPELLING BEE COMPETITION FINALISTS On Thursday, December 9, six students from the Morris Catholic Junior School participated in a Spelling Bee Consortium at the Delbarton School. MCJS 8th Grader came in 2nd in the Varsity competition after successfully completing 26 rounds.

Pre-K4 through 5th Grade went on a field trip to Stony Hill Farm in Chester. Morris Catholic Junior School finished in 7th place out of 10, NATIONALLY RANKED SCHOOLS! In the Chess Tournament School Consortium of New Jersey, held on Tuesday, October 19th 2010, at Central Middle School in Stirling, NJ. Mrs. Debbie Duane, MCJS Dean of Students, presented the students with ribbons at morning prayer.
