ORGAN REFURBISH FUNDRAISERS

The Music Ministry would like to thank you for your continued support in our fundraiser efforts to refurbish the pipe organ. We started the in the fall 2009 with a 5-year plan to offer 2 keepsake pieces per year (10 in all). The project list is in 3 categories: repair work, upgrades to new technology, and a wish list. With your help we have raised over $12,000 in keepsake profits and donations. We plan to start onthe repair work so that all the notes on the organ will play and those random whistles won't!

Our new keepsake is the sun catcher of the St. Virgil Academy's Schools Logo of the "Teaching Christ".
Please see our Parish Office for more information.

SAINT VIRGIL'S CHRISTMAS FAIR

SVA & MCJS was well represented at the 1st Annual St. Virgil Parish Christmas Fair on 12/19/10.
We displayed a festive welcome table containing giveaway bags with SVA & MCJS literature, Open House information, candy, & a small card with a poem about the Christian significance of the candy cane.
Many thanks to volunteers who helped staff it.

A special mention must go out to Karen Crochery. Due to Karen's artistic and craft talents,
we had a table chock-filled with crafts for children: God's eye, beaded candy canes with "Merry Christmas
from SVA & MCJS" tags, foam decorations, and more! Thank you Karen!!!
